Laurens Way

Laurens Way Wash Off Glow - Laurens Way*

Another one of my collaborations with the fab online blogger programme - Etail PR - I got the chance to try out the Medium Wash Off Glow Instant Tan by Laurens Way. I usually attend The Clothes Show Live every year so and I regularly take a trip to the Lauren's Way stand to get my hands on some of the fab goodies. If you don't know (which I'm probably sure that you do) Lauren's Way is a beauty brand that stocks hair extensions, fake eyelashes, and fake tans which was created by former Towie star Lauren Goodger. I have always been a fan of Lauren's tanning range, I have always known them to have an amazing colour pay off and give a perfect glow every time. I currently own a smaller travel set of her fake tans so I tend to keep them to use for special occasions when I need a perfect tan.

I decided to try out this tan last week as me and my friends to go on a last minute night out. I usually turn to one hour tans for unplanned nights out, but I sometimes find that an hour just isn't long enough for the darker color I prefer to be - which is why I was really excited and intrigued to try out a wash off formula. I applied the tan the same way I usually would a normal fake than - with a mitt and gloves to provide even coverage. I didn't really expect the colour to have much of an impact on my skin, so I first started with applying to the legs for abit of a glow and didn't expect to have to use anymore on the different areas of my body where didn't need so much of a tan, but I was so so wrong! The colour pay off for the instant tan is so so natural but yet the dark colour I always strive for on a night out. It did mean that I had to make a few changes to my makeup before I went out the door to match to the darker colour, but this is just something i'd know for applying next time.

The second thing I was a little skeptical about is how well the colour would stay on my skin, obviously not have developed like a normal fake tan would. Half way through the night the usual of someone managing to spill a drink down me (why always me?!) happened, and to my surprise my tan did not budge at all! When I jumped in the shower, the colour came off easily with abit of soap and water, but just from having drink poured down my leg I was streak free - which I think is pretty amazing for a wash off tan!

Overall, I think this wash off glow is a perfect alternative to your usual developer tan. Perfect for a last minute night out, and also perfect if you want to avoid all the cons of usual fake tan such as bad smell, streaking and it being impossible to budge! You can purchase the tan on the Lauren's Way website which I will feature below!
